All Souls, Harlesden, London

With over 45 continuous years practicing the craft of organ building and over 30 years working for myself, let me welcome you to my online shop window and experience some of the many instruments I’ve had the good fortune to be involved with.

I was born and raised in London and on leaving school I joined one of the country’s oldest established organ builders, Hill Norman & Beard. Originally trained in the voicing of reeds and flues I moved on and spent several years with another company designing and building mechanical actions. Since establishing myself in the mid 1980s I have successfully restored many worthy instruments and, I have to say even some less worthy ones. Rescued a few from unwanted homes and moving them to enthusiastic new lives elsewhere.

Experience in latter years has taken in the many fine pneumatic actions of the late 19th century of which there are many and worthwhile to restore. Alongside the restoration of past technologies the future has not been overlooked, in certain circumstances the introduction of state of the art combination systems can combine the best of the past with the best of today.
